| Instructor Bio: | Dr. Kim Sherman is a historian, writer, and textile artist from Wilmington, NC. Kim's research has largely centered around social and environmental history in the British Atlantic World and in the Lower Cape Fear. Kim received a PhD in Modern History from the University of St Andrews in 2018. Having worked in higher education for more than fifteen years, they are currently a Lecturer in Atlantic History at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. |
